Little Cars

Greetings.  You have reached Little Cars, a site devoted to recent developments in small economical four-wheeled and three-wheeled vehicles, especially concerning their availability and use in the U.S.A.  These vehicles have a variety of designations. Lately many of them are being called "scootcars" or "scooter cars", because recent ones often contain much newer scooter technology, including automatic gearless transmission.  But a few of the recent and many of the past "little cars" are closer to automotive in basis, so they are also called "minicars" and "microcars".  And there are others which don't seem to fit any of the above terms.  There is actually quite a lot of history to these, all the way back to the 1930's...but others cover the history far better than this author could hope to do, so links are below.

Scooter Tech & Quadricycles
Scooter technology, if applied well, gives excellent results.  There is also some crossover from the ATV market these days.
Modern Minicars
There are also little cars in modern production which seem to be steering clear of scooter technology.  These are quite a bit more expensive, but the bucks don't buy vapor.
Other Links
Here are more links strongly relevant.

The author of this site does not yet own one of these, but he is looking towards obtaining one.  Having found no other web site collecting this data, he decided to go ahead.  Suggestions, input, and comments are very much wanted.
